What is Eligibility Criteria for Humanitarian Scholarship in UK?

This scholarship is for displaced international students who want to study for a Master’s degree in Glasgow. To be eligible, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Programme Application: You must have applied for a full-time Master’s (MSc, MRes, or similar) programme at the University of Glasgow for the 2026-2027 academic year.
  2. Personal Circumstances: You must be displaced or at serious risk due to armed conflict. This includes being forced to leave your home country or being internally displaced in the last three years.
  3. Refugee Status: You must have sought international protection (such as being recognized as a refugee or asylum seeker) outside of the United Kingdom.
  4. Current Location: You must be living outside the UK at the time of application and hold international student fee status.
  5. Academic Record: You must have a strong academic history, usually equivalent to a UK First Class undergraduate degree.

Important Notes:

  1. This scholarship is not for PhDs, part-time degrees, diplomas (PGDip), or teacher education (PGDE) programmes.
